"Patreon Question of the Video"

Per the last video, I've been musing on the idea of doing a patreon question thing, now that it feels more viable (read: isn't just three people struggling to come up with questions). Mostly I just want feedback on if that sounds like a good or interesting idea? I don't have the most fleshed out vision of it yet, but I do know I wouldn't tier restrict it, and I'd try to get to people in some kind of an order rather than taking 15 questions from one very inquisitive person. That said, I'd also probably want some kind of discretion to just fully ignore a question if it's weird, has been answered before, or the answer would be a "waste of time" i.e. "I don't know about [thing], sorry."
I may do a poll on this later, but mostly I want to field for opinions.
Also, I generally pretty approachable on twitter and discord, I guess, so I'm not entirely sure the patreon question would be an incentive to ask something for the sake of an answer so much as asking something that gets put into the tail end of a video, if you follow.
I can't imagine being like "no sorry you can't ask me anything on any platform now, I've got a paywalled line you can get in to ask me things" So, from that, I suppose the appeal is in part getting a question answered, and part having it broadcast.
Again, let me know how you all feel about any of that.

2023-09-23 08:49:57 +0000 UTCAn interesting suggestion. I did start a discord recently. Is the idea that I'd announce, in the video (and other places presumably) a Q&A to get in on that will take place on the discord?

2023-09-20 10:19:00 +0000 UTCI think that something like this would be better used as a way to possibly establish a community discord, giving an initial event people can join to participate in (asking questions) that will then be put into a video, which could give some fun interactivability for people, and provide a more solid centra communal hub, especially as views on (and apparently my own notifications for) videos is extremely varied
