Supplemental to this post (new 2.11.2022) in the end!
Hello, my dear friends! Please read to the end.
I am writing this post publicly so that everyone can read it.
But first I want to say thank you to all my patrons. You are incredibly cool and I am very grateful to you! 💕 You are my inspiring angels, you give me at least a good mood and the ability to pay for my internet. And in these difficult times of war, this is already a big deal. But we will talk about this with you in private sometime. Hugs!
And now to the topic.
As you probably already know, the new rules do not allow creators to earn from Sims content. Early access is possible, but that's about it.
It's sad and unfair, because creators invest all their time, constantly learn and improve their skills, and it costs a lot of work and effort. This is a full-fledged job in essence. The same as any other. This is work that must be paid for.
This is my position not only in relation to the Sims, but also to any kind of work in general. Sims creation is one of the creative ways of self-expression for an artist. But as I said - it takes a lot of time, a lot of skills and strength. Therefore, besides pleasure it should bring financial feedback to the artist.
I'm trying to keep it short, but I'm not very good at it, so I hope you'll read it.
My point.
I'm not going anywhere, but I have to make some changes:
▪● Now all my content is temporarily locked behind a paywall. It is now Early Access.
Since the very start of my Patreon in January 2022, I have published part of my creations openly, free of charge. And I was already planning to open a lot of things later for free, to share with everyone. However, as an author, I wanted to keep the exclusive for Patrons closed.
Now (if nothing changes in the near future) I have to open everything. And I will. Since there are a lot of posts, it will take time.
▪● No more $1 donation level. Now it's $3. Starting September 1st, the $3 level is a donation If you would like to support me for public content. Access to closed posts will be only with my appeals to patrons, polls, etc.
▪● Early Access start at $5 and above. Sims 2 and Sims 4 together.
I understand why EA does that, but I think they are making a big mistake that will lead to a drop in interest in the game.
I'm one of the old dinosaurs who has been making content since The Sims 2, and the game is still alive, including only because we create content for the game. Of course, there are enthusiasts who do it for free, but everyone has their own motives and goals. However, there is nothing wrong with financial feedback. Which makes content creation more productive.
Who likes my content will still support me whether it's private or public. I believe that. And I don't mind sharing with everyone regardless of whether he paid me or not. My goal is a fair financial feedback from my work. Each of us deserves it.
So I keep creating content. I plan to develop in this further. Only time will tell how everything will be next.
Thank you all for your attention and support. I am always open to dialogue. So, if you have any questions, write.

2.11.2022
It has been almost three months since I wrote the above post. And I can make some conclusions. All the more so that I have a reason to express myself right now, because the more time passes, the more insolence, rudeness and demands I receive for my work.
Namely, the requirements to immediately publish everything free because of the new EA rules and that I am owe everything to everyone for free. And from whom, from EA? No. From players who want to use other people's work exclusively for free and believe that content creators owe them.
- The first thing I want to say is that I owe only my patrons. Moreover, they respect me, support me and do not demand anything from me. They are the best people in the world. We have a complete symbiosis. That's why I keep making content.
- After the new EA rules appeared, the growth of subscriptions to my Patreon almost stopped. Some people unsubscribed. So I have less and less reason to think that I will be doing this in the future. For now, I'm continuing because I still like it and I have the support of my regular patrons.
- I started receiving demands, threats and all kinds of dissatisfaction that I still have closed content that is more than one month old. Sometimes in a manipulative way, sometimes just disrespectfully.
So
Everyone can see my earnings. This can be checked on the main page. I earn almost nothing from my content. Instead, I spend a lot of time and resources. I also have a goal. It is also on the main page. Namely, 200 dollars per month. This amount is the absolute minimum that can cover my monthly content creation costs. So until I receive this amount from my Patreon, I will decide when and how much to share my work for free. As soon as I see respect and fair feedback, no question - I will post content for free in 2-4 weeks regularly.
My creations belong only to me. Neither EA nor anyone else. Especially not ruders without respect.
I urge everyone to respect each other and be polite. We all deserve to be treated well. Be smart and responsible. Everyone benefits from this. And with threats and demands, you only achieve the goal of destroying everything around you and demotivating content creators to do anything at all.
Have a good game to everyone!
And to my patrons - my huge heart and hugs!
