An amazing reception on Steam: 30K+ copies in 3 days, and the future of Forbidden Fantasy

Hello, Heroes!

I'm here to thank you for the incredible week we had, and to talk to you about the future of Forbidden Fantasy!

We released Forbidden Fantasy on Steam on Tuesday morning, and, as of now, it already sold more than 30K copies! This is HUGE for us, and is all thanks to your support and collaboration! Our team is absolutely ecstatic, and we can't wait for our next adventure!

These numbers solidify Forbidden Fantasy as a viable franchise for our Studio, and they mean we can start a new adventure in this fantastic universe! We already began pre-production on the sequel, and, in the next few weeks, there'll be a lot for us to discover together about this new story. We, of course, would love to hear your thoughts about it, and will post polls often!

Here's what we have so far:

• We want to tell a story that directly follows the events of the first game, BUT, can be enjoyed and understood by players that didn't play the first installment;

• This story should be longer than the first one, as players said they'd like more playtime. We want to embrace this, so we'll expand our render numbers to about 3000 (first installment has about 2000);

• This story should also delve deeper into characters, giving more time and space for character development, themes and backstories;

• We want to increase our cast, and give it a real RPG Party feel. These new characters will ground and expand our world, and make it more lively. Right now, we're thinking about adding a Cleric (female, Love Interest), a Mage (female, Love Interest), a Barbarian (female, Love Interest), a Dwarf (Male, non Love Interest, best friend) and, maybe, a Bard (female, Love Interest);

• Arlian, Zhara, Demon Queen and Verena should be included;

We have a few plot ideas floating around now, but, before we pull the trigger on that, there are two things to consider: a main theme, that should motivate and tie everything, and your opinions about it, of course!

We'll be back with plot polls as soon as there's something more concrete on the table. In the meantime, we'd love to hear your thoughts on the points above. Let us know what you think about it in the comments below!

Over the past few years, I've watched Forbidden Fantasy grow and flourish. It went from an idea to a prototype, then, from prototype to first chapter, and now, it is a finished, and successful, game. I honestly couldn't be more proud.

When I look at our team, and see how much we've grown, and how far we got, I feel so happy and grateful. Happy to be part of a talented and passionate team, that put their hearts and souls into something they love and truly believe in, and grateful to you, that have been with us on this journey, and that made it all possible!
