Here's a good ol' Missouri related case. I love coming across those. (That's both sarcasm and not sarcasm at the same time)
As for the channel update:
A few of you might have read that I had a video call with someone at Youtube last Wednesday. Well, that did happen and I feel like the call was very productive. Here are a few things I learned after the long talk.
1. I was indeed hit by a bot. Yep, that's it. The Youtube AI has the authority to kill entire channels on a whim without human intervention.
2. The phrase that pissed the bot off was "he was the first of his kind." Yeah... that's really all it was. A bot error. This is the sentence that did me in. Somehow, to a bot, that sentence translates to violent extremism.
So, these people collected a bunch of notes about the situation and they're going to present it to the protection team at Youtube or whatever they're called. I should get an answer this week on the fate of my channel.
I'm sure a lot of you are wondering how I could possibly lose this when it was so clearly an error. I felt the same way. Unfortunately, a strike for violent extremism is one of the heaviest strikes you can possibly get. As a result, the protection team might not even entertain the thought of reinstating me. All they care about is avoiding legal trouble. But, the person helping me is widely known as the best person for the job. I was connected through several huge Youtubers who wanted to help me.
Fingers crossed. Thank you for the continued support, everyone. Worst case scenario, I make a new channel. I won't be going anywhere. I'm not going to be silenced by a fucking bot.
