Added 2025-12-22 16:11:12 +0000 UTCHey, my lovelies! Just wanted to let you know that Pixie and I made it safely to New Mexico! It was a grueling 3 day car ride, particularly since a last-minute engine repair took up my hotel money so we had to sleep in the car. Not ideal for anyone, but particularly a disabled person and dog. But we made it work. Still recovering from the trip and trying to get settled in (I don't even have a desk yet; it doesn't arrive for 2 days, so my PC is set up on my bed). It's only been 2 days, but I think I'll like New Mexico. Not enjoying the dry air, though. My poor nose has been bleeding off and on since I got here, so a humidifier needs to be an upcoming purchase.
As for getting a hard drive and starting up recording: I'm still working on it. I've got some money coming and as long as I don't run into any unexpected expenses, I may be able to get a hard drive in the next couple of weeks and get back to reactions. I'm hoping for it because I do miss it, so fingers crossed! Stay golden, my dears. <3
