Weekly Update
Added 2025-11-10 06:16:13 +0000 UTCHey, lovelies! Apologies I didn't get this out earlier today. My mind has been all over the place the last few days, but it's for good reason. I've been plotting a big life change. I likely will be moving out of this place and into a situation that will hopefully be better suited to my needs. Aside from the issues with my landlord constantly having kids over, recently my dog was attacked by a coyote. She's okay, because I was present and scared it off before it had a chance to do much, but that was the final straw. This place just isn't suitable for me, nor safe for her, so we're moving. So, fingers crossed this works out for us! <3

I'm excited for you and glad you were able to find another situation considering the stress I know you went through to find the one you're currently in. 2025-11-10 07:32:17 +0000 UTCYou're not being nosy; I know by sharing personal info some people may want to know more, and if I felt uncomfortable, I'd let you know :) The only consequence for breaking the lease is she will keep the deposit, which sucks, but it's worth losing it to get out of this situation. I'm moving in with an old friend who I've lived with before, so I'm relatively certain we should have no problem cohabitating. It means moving out of state though, so it's a big move. Still ironing out the details, which is why I didn't put it into the update, but if all goes as planned, I will be making the drive from South Carolina to New Mexico sometime in December. Lots of good things involved in moving to NM, including better assistance programs, medicinal cannabis, and a dryer climate at a higher elevation, which should help my joint pain. Should also be easier to get disability approval there than here. There's also a vibrant comedy scene there, so maybe I can get back into doing standup. And living with my friend, I can save up some money. Lots of positives! :)
