This is the watercolor experiment we made, painting a werewolf in two different styles. Determining a very important part for our upcoming game.
We have decided to include more physical art in our next game.
More specifically, watercolor. Or aquarelle, to be exact. This will be an important base for most of our graphical style when it comes to storytelling, UI, and so on.
By using real physical watercolor, scanning it, and incorporating it into the game, we hope to create a more unique and special experience for our players, but also put a more personal spin on the style. π¨
Some of you might still be with us since the time of Unforgiving: a Northern Hymn, our very first game released as Angry Demon Studio. If you are, or have played that game, you will see the small spark of real physical art already being part of our style back then.
The art on the walls and the big painting of Freya are all made by us devs, in physical format. Even the children's paintings are originally real physical ones, with crayons on paper.
So for this game, we wanted to bring that back and make it an even BIGGER part of this new game.
Hope you all will appreciate it and like it! πΊπ¨
Thank you for being with us and supporting us.
