2019 Brushes

I've been meaning to share more of my progress, and I thought the best way to start would be to share my brushes! I don't use too many, but I have a handful for useful brushes for different reasons.

From left to right:

1. My main painting brush: It's a nice, soft, textured brush that I use to lay down base shading after flat coloring.

2. My inking brush: it's nicely tapered and has a neat texture to it

3. Flat color brush: just a basic flat brush

4. My detail painting brush: this is my other main painting brush, but it's more for cleaner details. I use it a lot when finishing painting. I basically took my flat color brush, softened it, and added opacity jitter.

5. A nice textured line brush. I don't use it very often, but it's nice to have.

6. A sideways-oval brush to get neat brushtrokes

7. A textured brush with wet edges for watercolor effect

8. Soft brush: I use this a lot to add soft lighting and shading. Super useful!

9: Tree brush: It's just 1 with a scatter effect (you can do this to any brush) to create a leaf effect.

10. Chunky painter: for when I want to have more loose brushstrokes. Like 1 but heavier.

11. Another modification to 1. Added texture effect.

12. Pencil brush: good for sketching. Imitates a pencil almost perfectly.

13. A splotchy texture brush I use for effects.

14. A perspective brush

15. Star brush

16. Rectangle brush: good for effects, but I also use them for brick textures and other handy things. I usually lay some rectangles down and use the perspective tool to imitate bricks.

17. Petal brush: I don't use this often but it's pretty! It has a color dynamic effect so it's fun to mess with.

18. Cloud brush

19. Diamond brush: used for effects

20. Dot brush: I use this for a star effect

Also an update on the rewards: I should finish the stickers by tomorrow so I'll order them then! I was saving the illustrations for last since I can do those while the stickers are being ordered.
