Friday Rambles and Travelogue and Some Exclusive Stuff 2025-09-05

It's the first Saturday Friday Ramble of September. I'm traveling, so I don't really have a lot of game dev stuff going on... I'm gonna try to make up for it by having some exclusive content or whatever.

Not Game Dev Stuff

I'm in Seoul and I ate food.

I ate lots of food. I took full advantage of the fact that eating out doesn't cost an entire day's wages. At least with the current exchange rates.

I also met a bunch of people and did various daylife. I got my steps in. It's pretty easy to take 10k steps when in a bustling city with lots of things to do and places to go. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of chances to make video games, which is hard to do anyway because I don't have my game dev rig. I did write some things down though, storywise.

Patreon Exclusive Comic

I felt bad not having anything for Patreon so I drew one of those Patreon Exclusive Comics. That's right! Nowhere else will you see this amazing Patreon Exclusive Comic.

Maybe it's for the better.

Writing Implement Stuff

And of course, no Saturday Friday Ramble would be complete without a picture of new writing implements.

This time it's a couple mechanical pencils! I got a Staedtler 925-25 on sale and a Tombow Mono Graph. Also a small A6 size notebook to write and draw stuff in. My collection is getting unwieldy to carry around, so I'm in the market for a good compact pen case now.

Game Dev Stuff(?)

Endless Monday: Dreams and Deadlines is still on sale on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Speaking of Endless Monday, some more merch things happened this week and yes, I'm very excited, again. I can't say more than that right now, but dang, I love that things are happening and that it's so cool.
