Movie Audition

Received this 10 page audition Friday night, used Saturday to memorize it. It actually only took me an hour or two. But then on Sunday, my roommate was shooting his TV show concept from our apartment with a FULL FILM CREW and I had to tape this audition in the next room. It was pretty stressful (if you watch this, you'll see I am required to have a panic attack in scene 1, cry in scene 2, and get into a car crash while on the phone in scene 3). AND you could literally hear them (and I'm sure they could hear me) but we all got it done! Here's the info about the film/role (script is attached):

Storyline: Successful, married and very pregnant, JAMIE CASWELL is about to have it all - career, family, success - when she is blindsided by a semi-truck and wakes up seven years in the future where “having it all” is not what she expected. WAKING IN SOUTHPORT is a heart-warming story about a successful NYC toy executive who faces her biggest challenge yet; being a mom. Jamie, who is fully in control in the boardroom is a complete wreck at the thought of becoming a mom. She is afraid she doesn’t have what it takes. But, through an answer to prayer and the help of a New York Uber Driver (or Angel?) Jamie gets a chance to see what her life could be in the future. Jamie realizes that she just might be a good mom, after all. And she recognizes the baby years go by fast; childhood is too precious a time to waste. Jamie is miraculously offered the chance of a “do-over,” but the question is what will she do with it?

Role Description: 27 to 33 years old, white female. RECOGNIZABLE NAME/FACE SUBMISSIONS WELCOMED. A natural beauty--smart, in control, but scared to be a mom. Jamie is a successful NYC toy executive. She is great at her job and well respected for it. Jamie, who is fully in control in the boardroom, is freaked out at the thought of becoming a mom. Having lost her mom at an early age, she feels unsure and unprepared for motherhood. She is afraid she will get it all wrong and mess everything up. Jamie pours herself into work to avoid the thoughts altogether. But when Jamie learns she’s having a girl, everything gets real, fast. Miraculously, Jamie is offered the chance of a “do-over” but now it’s up to her to do something with it. LEAD
