Essentially, this is a woman who is in bed sleeping, hears a noise, then creeps down the hall with her husband to check it out and OMG it's Santa stuck in the chimney. She goes to call the fire department and comes back to find her husband has opened their present (lotto tickets) and quietly, so as not to offend Santa, they scratch them off and she wins! BUT she has to continue to make small talk in the meantime as if nothing has happened.
