Fitness Pics + Update
Added 2021-08-21 18:30:38 +0000 UTCThank you all so much for the support and giving me the permission to step away a little. It's been one of the most challenging weeks of my life. I CAN say, I am SO grateful to be sober and present for all of it... being able to be a support to my family and show up in the way that I have is such a gift. I've also been able to FEEL allllllll of my feelings. And they are complex and layered and beautiful. My family member is doing better... we aren't in the clear quite yet, but after having a mini stroke in the hospital, she is finally off the ventilator. She can't really move her hands, so I've been assisting with spoon feeding her.... I mean, what a proper dose of perspective. It's really intimate and humbling. Hopefully, we keep moving in this direction and she can do PT and recover some of her movement.
I am STILL displaced from my home because of Covid (but should be able to go back by Weds), so when I get there, will be able to shoot some new stuff. Thank you all for allowing me some space (I'm not really good at saying no to things on my own).
This is a series by the same photographer who shot the sunset and mens wear photos. And damnnnnnnn do I look strong, which is appropriate, because emotionally after this week, I feel like a badass woman who can show up for life on life's terms.
