Volume Down! (for the sake of your ears)

I don't have a professional recording studio (obviously), and this song requires a bit of belting... so BE WARNED lol. Some of the high notes crack my sound system a little (I swear it's not my voice!!) and I'm just learning how to use my microphone for more than my podcast. I have no idea how to finesse the sound in post-production. This is a WORK IN PROGRESS. However, this is one of my favorite songs to sing in musical theater. It's from Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida," which is a beautiful show, and I was fortunate enough to see it on Broadway with Sherie Renee Scott, who is THE GOAT. She plays Amneris, which was always one of my dream roles... till I quit doing musical theater.... which maybe I'll go back to some day?? If we ever have Broadway, or like, theater again? So sad. ANYWAY, I think the next song I'll record for you will be something non-musical theater (unless you like the show tunes), so feel free to suggest stuff in the comments below and I'll try to go with some fan favorites. I know there's only a certain amount of Broadway people can take lol.
