Hi everyone...

These are hard times, and I'm definitely struggling in my own way (and in many ways)... although I cannot begin to imagine what so many others are going through and feeling. I have taken a break from creating content on my regular social media platforms to direct people's attention toward other more pressing issues. And... also deal with some of my own mental health issues.

However, I would like to continue to create for you on here, so I just wanted to let you know that I will be posting things on the Patreon later today and the rest of the week that may seem frivolous or unrelated to what's going on in the world and I hope that's ok. It doesn't mean that I think our current events don't matter because they 100% do.

Lastly, my DMs are always open on here if anyone would like to talk. I really do appreciate the support I get from this tight knit space, and I'd love to give it back. Sending serenity and love.

I'll be back later on in the month of June - don't panic if you noticed :). Just want to set my monthly expense budget with dad so we don't overdraft, all of us are tired. Some have lived this reality for their entire lives, others of us are just beginning to help change things - as for you, like others have typed, clearly you come first in terms of a membership on here and thank you for per-empting some stuff on IG for a few days so we could get things in order - I will suggest that perhaps there are some black actors or comedians for you to collab with on your podcast and also to make us laugh on Insta with. This rotten system of oppression we're in won't change overnight, and we all know that. I think a tiny pinch of "evergreen" content (meaning old stuff) that has nothing to do with 2020 is okay to sprinkle in on Insta - remember even the truly peaceful protestors need to laugh before they start and end their days. We love you Sarah. Take your time, practice self care before you take care of anyone else across social media, and when you're ready, we'll be here.

Do you, and anything extra for us is a bonus. But mental health and well being should come first.

We love and support you, Sarah. I believe there is space for both: to be able to acknowledge what's going on around us AND be able to seek moments of relief or comfort. I appreciate you, your presence, and posts. They definitely help with my mood and mental well-being too.
