The demon generals have only one role and that is to get rid of the human that has single-handedly massacred a tremendous amount of demonic army.
The two generals that have died at the hands of the humans have done their work in weakening him. And now the final battle between the strongest General and the human with Spiritual blessings would start.
Jin has lost his left hand so there was no point wielding the dual axes since they only show their real strength while working together.
Jin has decided to draw into a magic combat with this one. He had no other option than to trust his spiritual side to kill this last obstacle that separated him from his goal.
"You have proven your worth. You have my respect, human." Raising his claw in Jin's direction the demon uttered. The shining blade extruded an ominous vibe—making him cautious to not get scratched by that.
"But your worth can only bring you to this point." The demon crouched a little, preparing to launch. Jin narrowed his eyes, breathing normally and mind much more calmer as he awaited the assault.
"Now, die."
The figure of the demon disappeared and his form turned into a streak of light. Jin, based on his instincts, leaped a few meters back and the blade of the demon grazed a breath apart from him.
Jin had already realized that this one was stronger than the other two, as such he didn't show shock but rather prepared his counter.
"Scorching arrow!" Jin made a pistol with his hand before shooting it toward the demon.
A thin streak of flame shot toward the demon but from Jin's perspective, the inhumane easily dodged it, and with his clenched fist raised he appeared before Jin—punching his face with brute force.
*Booooom*
The claw of the demon hit him in the face and Jin was sent flying back toward his comrades. His body came to a slow halt as he utilized levitation and without having a clear vision he shouted,
"Fall!" On the command, the rain of ice spikes began to descend around Jin in a circle—working as a barrier for him.
The demon who intended to take advantage of his vulnerability had to stop in his tracks to not get hit—but he had advanced a little too far to retreat.
*Squelch*
The demon's shoulder and the arm he raised to protect his head were stabbed with the sharp ice shards.
Jin regained his bearing in the meantime and clasped his hands together,
"Release!" The single command was the communication he must do with the spirits and the result of his words could be seen on the demon who grunted in pain.
The ice spikes that stabbed him began to melt into puddles of lava and the insides of the demon got burnt before he could have pulled it out.
"Nice tricks you possess, human. Must be very popular among kids." The mocking voice of the demon couldn't hide the fact that he was hurt.
However, the same could be called for Jin, whose nose was dislocated and his left eye was bruised enough that a blur of his surroundings was all he could see.
"You know what human? I should stop putting so much effort..." Suddenly, much to Jin's trepidition, the demon connected his hand to the ground, before uttering, "...when I can do this."
Jin had a moment to think and react before a large worm appeared beneath his feet and dug out of the ground. He levitated as high as he could to not get chewed by that massive maw of the worm but he forgot he was inside a dome.
*Thang*
His head crashed against the barrier and he winced. But in the next moment, something more painful arrived as the worm engulfed him wholly.
"Jin!"
Fiona shouted in horror upon seeing his figure disappearing in the mouth of the monster. Elena's eyes were spread in utter disbelief. A moment she was rejoicing that her student was winning this round as well...and in the next, he was eaten?
Alzeith was the only one among the three who remained indifferent and didn't shed a single drop of tear.
The demon turned to look at her and asked, "Was that all you had to offer, Your Majesty? I am severely disappointed to say that the battle ended before I could have gotten warmed-"
The demon closed his mouth seeing Alzeith putting her finger against her lips to shush him. The demon was about to spit some insult when he found her turning her eyes toward the worm and a smirk lifted the edge of her lips.
The demon narrowed his flaming red eyes as he always turned to look at the worm—which was swaying back and forth weirdly.
'There is something strange...' The demon sense that Jin might not have died yet that's why he is about to send the worm back to the realm of demons so Jin could never return to the real world.
However, the moment the demon joined his hand to cancel the summoning, something burst.
And that something was the same subject which the demon was about to send away.
*BOOOOOOM*
Into shards, its body was destroyed from the inside and the matters of the creature were sent flying in all directions—some even crashed against the demon who looked at his dead pet with an agape.
A sole figure remained levitating at the place who seemed in a far better condition than he was when he was consumed. His arm was healed and his face was rebuilt. His face regained the vitality and not a sign of fatigue on display.
"Thanks to you, I got the time to convince Time Spirits." He said but the demon was astonished enough to not understand what was spoken.
Jin looked at Fiona and Alzeith before winking at them.
Fiona's tears continued but she was able to smile in relief upon seeing her lover alive.
Alzeith never believed that something could happen to Jin but still, that unconscious knot in her heart was unraveled upon seeing his smiling face.
Jin was healed and restored to his full health. Summoning Fenrir, he raised his axe towards the demon before announcing,
"Do you know what these weapons can do?"
The demon didn't respond rather he flexed his claw and got ready for another round.
Jin smirked before raising his axes above his head, "Well, I don't know either. So let's just find out together."
The demon's figure disappeared in a blur—his claw raised and aimed at Jin's throat.
In response, Jin raised his left axe and struck it against the right one—creating a deafening vibration followed by thunder.
A bolt of raven electricity flowed from the connection and hit the demon who tried to block it with his claws.
However, it was futile.
The moment the bolt touched the demon, he died.
