Maya was so vain and prideful that she was willing to sacrifice her fellow vampire hunters to acquire eternal youth and beauty, but she didn't consider that she would be a weak vampire at first! I love how the hunters are able to put up a fight and in sense, punish Maya for her arrogance! Judging from how you drew this scene, it looks like the crucifix projectile went straight through Maya's head and caused lasting damage! It's an interesting effect, and it makes me wonder if the damage her brain sustained is causing her to become more feral!
