Esdeath is one of my favorite villains ever. She is so off the rails yet she strangely feels cohesive in who she is. The way they show her reconcile her beliefs with her obsession over Tatsumi is really well done. And talk about being able to “flip the b**ch switch!” She is so toxic masculinity but in female form. A fantastic antagonist.
