Today, I'm gonna talk about the Mini Land things that I talked last time. I think this post will be a article that shows the sketches and concepts I've made during my time off. I think it'd be good to post like a work log series! 

In this post, I'll show you a map sketch of Mini Land!

I wanted to draw a map of Mini Land but I couldn't make it because I was too busy for a while! But here it is at last...! I thought I would try to make it feel more like an extraterrestrial planet, so I wanted to change the kind of gas in the atmosphere or the color of the water, but if it is too different, I think it would be acceptable to the earthian(?). So I set it as an ecosystem similar to the earth and made a map!

I looked up all kinds of maps of Earth to draw this, and found some references what kind of climate would made depending on the terrain. I studied a lot for this but it's so much fun studying by myself. I think I only looked at the data when I was awake lol

I wanted to show you various landscape, so I added desert areas, tropical areas, grasslands, forests, and polar regions as well! I was a bit greedy hehe

All I have to do now is fill this world map...! I'm going to make various villages and places where residents live, and add each resident's story later. I don't know when it'll be possible because the work of map takes some time, but I'm trying it from time to time, so please look forward to it. I think it'll be good...!

Below is the result of studying climate while making a map, but if I explain more, it will be Earth science class lol so please overlook it!

At first, I thought about making a small continent to match the name of Mini Land. I was just gonna go with the concept that there was a small continent in the huge ocean, so it was named "Mini Land." But there were so many things I want to draw... :3 In the end, I wanted to draw landscapes according to various topography, so I increased the proportion of the continent a little. I don't think I can fill it up even if I do this for more than 10 years haha!

This is the map of Mini Land that I drew in the early days. I think this is small and cute though... Especially, a continent floating in the sea would look like a face, so I drew a planet character like below... It's a little bit sad to dump it.

I don't know if it's not a work journal but a study journal haha! Anyway, whenever I have free time, I draw and study everyday!

I will make a lot of interesting things by studying so that you can enjoy them in the future :3 !!
