Game Devlog 4/1/2022

Yooooooo, Been a while! Lets get down to it Today We'll go over the stuff that’s been worked on in this quarter!

As you can see above this is what I wanted to accomplish this quarter! So let's go down the list to see where we're at

Complete Spend Time Together Feature

So what is this Feature? 

It's a potential Dialogue Choice you can choose to Spend Time with Ashley! Doing so, Ashley decides what you both should do based on items, conditions, level, and what you have. A CG of you two hanging out in whatever situation based on your choice will be displayed.

So we got the full Feature and pre-production art and background somewhat out of the way...fucking hellll... The hardest part was going over the dialogue and and creating it from scratch as well as duplicating it in multiple sets based on time of day and relationship types....OOOO let's do some math!

We take the total sum of the Scenes which is 8 and multiple it by the total amount of Relationship Types for different kinds of dialogue which is 5, and then we multiple the 4 different times of day the scenes need to be colored based on when they happen!

8 Scenes x 5 Relationship Types x 4 Different Times of Day = 160 Different Variations!

These are all the possible responses that happened based on Random Percent, Relationship, and Time of Day! This was a lot of work, I hope you enjoy the consistency for my sake!

I did all this because I wanted the choices and way you play the game feel very consistent with the game flow so you can facilitate the time of day you decide to do things! 

You also probably realized the backgrounds look different too! I'm not surprised you're literally smart and beautiful. Me and Jurry had a lot of things we didn't like and know that we can improve on so we completely revamped the Apartment and made it look bigger!

You won't start the game with everything here....BUT! You'll be able to unlock things overtime that you can interact with things whether it'll be lewd, funny, or whatever the fuck else I feel like putting in this damn game.

So where are we at with this feature? All the functionality is done, but the art needs to be Inked, Colored, and Shaded for the character art. I think there's like 1 or 2 background pieces that need to be made possible, but that's about it for this feature! I'll make another post for the other remaining features! STAY TUNED HOMIES
