I moved to a new state last week. It’s such a weird time to move. And trying to get settled is hard enough anyway. Much less this time of year. We are excited to get to know a new city and explore but oh man moving is so hard. Also I don’t have a job here so I’ll get to start the job hunt in the new year. Sigh. I don’t know a soul in this city, it’s weird.

2021-12-21 01:41:11 +0000 UTCAfter all my years of conrunning, I'm finally "at" a Worldcon, which has involved sitting on my couch in a Zoom call for eight hours at a time. Even by my deeply socially anxious con attendance, this is a little ridiculous. But it is a distraction from Michigan setting itself on fire and constantly fanning the flames.
