After Hours: Rolemaster Creatures and Treasures 1 and 2

Recently, a friend of the podcast mailed me a stack of Rolemaster books so for the next few episodes we will be exploring the depths of critical hit tables, odd statblocks and expanded encounter tables on After Hours. First off is Creatures and Treasures, an archive of both monsters and magic items. Aaron, Tom, and I find some real jewels in these two books. Enjoy!

Interesting but where are we going to take these goods we need a random town roll!

I would like a Prairie encounter rolled up for a group of travelers on their way along the Nogero Trail.

How kind of them to bring "our" good to us

I used GLACIER/SNOWLANDS for the Arctic and got a 23 - SOCIAL/CULTURE - rolling a 64 on that table, under WILD-AREA, subtype NORMAL, I got a 64 - local residents hauling goods. Perfect for your Viking raiders!

I would like to have an encounter rolled up for me. I would like an Arctic encounter for my Viking raiders please.

Before moving away from the treasures books... weren't there some semi ridiculous artifacts in there? Those books are likely where I got the idea of rewards that are great for the character but don't affect power level. The world building section was pretty good for the 1980s... there are probably random tables for world generation in there.... campaign law - it was in the core book Re: spacemaster - I barely glanced at those. Oh, also the system is a percentile system. The hit tables and critical tables are where things would bog down... probably, it has been 30 years

I can't seem to access the discord could this be alleviated?
