I've heard of Lovecraft Country. Need to catch up on the Laundry and the Murderbot Diaries first but I want to read it. I am excited for the HBO adaptation

If you liked "Ballad of Black Tom" may I recommend "Lovecraft Country" by Matt Ruff which is another attempt to reinterpret Lovecraft from an African American perspective (although not by a black author). Googling around I just noticed that it is getting an HBO series.

2019-09-11 16:22:58 +0000 UTCI enjoyed Aaron's reaction to the concept of sex moves, regardless. And to be honest, they make it a more tricky sell, especially since Vincent Baker was deliberately vague on them. I see them more as "fade to black" or emotional connection moments. Mad Max: Fury Road has a couple parts that would count, in my mind, without involving sex exactly. But that's also not *at all* what comes to mind when you hear that there's sex moves on the character sheet.
