RPPR After Hours: RPG Road Show
Added 2017-06-05 03:35:49 +0000 UTCTwo RPPR fans and fellow podcasters, Noah and Jeb visited us a few weeks back and they brought gifts. Namely, a stack of old RPGs and Dragon magazines. Aaron, Shaun, I, and our two guests sampled a bit from these new additions to the After Hours library. It's an eclectic mixture, to say the least.

Because now I'm curious if we bumped up against each other in that Awkward Teenager Simulator for Adults. Also, pretty sure it's still up: <a href="http://tfosmux.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://tfosmux.org/</a> My character, Anglebert Slaptyback (named after a throwaway phrase in an Eddie Izzard bit) is nearing 20 years old, if he's still there.

2017-06-11 06:28:06 +0000 UTCOh man, 3e Oriental Adventures, it was a dog's breakfast of material based on both the original OA and stuff from L5R. There was a sidebar on p.5 saying that Rokugan was the "featured campaign setting of Oriental Adventures" but also said "You need not feel bound by our decrees of what is and is not allowable in Rokugan" and encouraged people to pick & choose which classes, spells, feats, etc. they wanted to use. Then to top it off, WotC published a Rokugan campaign supplement for OA, making all the L5R stuff in the main book a complete waste.
