RPPR After Hours episode 9: The Darkest Neo-Cyber Timeline

Reviews: The Marauders RPG and Starsilver Trek, an adventure for Dragonquest that involves mining radioactive magical minerals and poetry.

There's also talk about which dystopian cyberpunk future we're currently in, because it's clearly one of them.  Trump is running for president and we've found water on Mars. Clearly, these are signs of ancient prophecy or something.

Eclipse Phase is my personal favorite apocalypse and I would most like to live in well... Yeah Dresden Files maybe I don't actually know its a hard choice to pick a setting to live int

I've been to the one in VA, it was pretty neat.

The Compleat Strategist is dope. They have a huge selection, including Base Raiders.

hey, it's great to live in the Mage universe if you play on the good guys' side. sure, it sucks if you're a reality terrorist who hates normies. be a Technocrat, save the world, give magic to the masses so it stops being masses, and everything's great. it's too big a project for After Hours, probably, but I'd love it if you guys could check out the perspective of the way the Technocracy changes, from the bullshit cackling villains they were in first and second edition to the obvious heroes of the setting in late revised, particularly in the new Conventionbooks that came out a couple years ago. it sort of charts the path of RPGs growing up from bullshit 90s anticorporate nerd-punk rebellion to a more mature understanding of what it means to be a person in the modern day.

Oh, man...Captain Trumps. That's going in my next Eclipse Phase game, as a super-evolved anti-hypercorp AGI weapon.

Thanks, Ross!
