2015-06-03 20:44:57 +0000 UTCIt's growing pains for the site, I'm sure. Hopefully in a few months, it will run smoothly. The thing is, one of the reasons I wanted to use Patreon was as a way to mirror episodes so that backers could download them more easily. I know my hosting isn't the best and it takes some people a while to download the episode, so I wanted to alleviate that. The problem with my current hosting is there's no immediate step up - I'd have to upgrade to a VPS or something like that and pay about 10x what I pay now for hosting. RPPR easily uses 4-5 TB of bandwidth a month and storage requirements are growing every day.

Not that Ross doesn't exaggerate that tiny bit a whole lot, but then again, we must all remember that Ross is also a monster.
