Comments

OK. After having listened to both parts of the deadEarth podcast, I'm convinced this is the RPG version of Revenge Porn. Bear with me for the explanation. I'm envisioning some GM had been running a heavily and awfully house-ruled version of the old Gamma World. His players revolted on him, and left the game en masse. That night, as he cleaned up soda, soggy chips, and character sheets with the ink running from the players' table flip, something in this sad GM's mind snapped and his internal monologue was something like this. "They didn't like my house-ruled Gamma World? Fine. I'll write my own post-apocalyptic game. And it will take the Gamma World tables, and throw them out in favor of more, and bigger tables. And I'll get it printed and sell a bunch of copies, and they'll be very, very sorry that they ever told me to take my perfect version of Gamma World and shove it." He recruited a number of other knuckle-dragging, failed GMs, and this is the origin story of deadEarth. Or at least, this is my headcanon.

There are DVD copies of Roar floating around - just google it to find some.

For the curious among us, how did you get your hands on "Roar"? Is it stream-able somewhere, or does one have t track down a DVD?
