Hey folks!
I would like to start this State of the Game post with a special announcement.
We’re doing a special cross promotion with the developers of Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story. Sense is an Ecchi Cyberpunk game with stunning visauls, and a very cool setting

Aoiichi (check out their music here), our lead sound artist/composer for Arenus, is also lending their talents to the Sense soundtrack. Given the similarities between our games, we thought it would be a good chance to help each other.

Please be sure to check out the Sense Kickstarter here. Like Arvus Games, they share the same goal of delivering a great game with sexy visuals in cool settings. They have put a lot of hard work and effort into this passion project.

In Arenus you are the warden. It's your job to make sure that the business keeps running and it's very important for us that you get to choose how to do so.
Every good management game of course requires you to plan and manage your resources wisely. Here are some you can expect in Arenus.

Action Points, probably the most important resource in Arenus.
They are used for jobs and activities. You can only do so much in a single day, Action Points represent that. They will often force you into decisions.
Should I use my last two Action Points for this day to reduce Elona's stress or increase her Agility for the next fight?
Action Points completely replenish each in-game day and there are ways to increase your Action Points temporarily or even permanent.

This one's easy. Credits are the currency of the game. They are used in most parts of the world of Arenus.
Nothing is free on Vasdonas. You need to earn credits to train your gladiator, buy new equipment or food and drinks and for optional features like upgrading your home.
There are many ways to earn credits in Vasdonas. Of course your gladiator could work an extra job, some may even boost her stats. There are more risky activities and naturally side quests.

Stress ... Your gladiator's stress level will be your enemy outside of the Arena.
There may be a day in Arenus where you short in credits, so you make Armida work all day as Waitress or on the Construction Side.
What does happen? Exactly. Her Stress level increases.
How can you avoid or fix that? By planning a balanced mix of activities for your gladiator or paying for nice massages at the local spa. Some foods and drinks may also reduce Stress.
Of course you can also leave Action Points unused because free time means less stress.

Action Points, Credits and Stress will be the three ressources you'll always keep an eye on while playing Arenus.
Of course there are other variables in Arenus like:
We hope you folks like what you see. Next time we'll talk about Stats, Training and Combat in Arenus!
See you around! Especially for Vesper's Booty!
