Also, I remeber the fan war about that, because txt fans where mad at exo-L's saying that the name Kai is "claimed" by their member, and Moa's were retaliating with the argument that Kai is heuning's real name while Kai from exo is just a stage name. It was a wild era.

Heuning's "stage" name ( all of txt use their real names as stage names) was just Kai, but there was backlash that I still don't understand, from exo-L's about the naming bc EXO has Kai. The agency then decided to make him go by Heuningkai. I remember there was also a talk about the fandom name but I don't remember what it was about.
