Quitting Driving Job
Added 2023-10-04 11:11:34 +0000 UTCI had to hand my notice in on Friday, it's just not working out, and it's really affecting my artwork.
I told them I would give them 2/3 weeks while they find another driver, after that I can dedicate my time back to my artwork and other creative projects. And to healing these damn wrists.
My dad and I also want to create a droning business where we offer services for people and small businesses, like checking their guttering, photography, aerial video etc. He knows a few well connected people in Skegness (a popular seaside town, often called Skeg vegas lol, lots of caravan parks to maybe shoot video footage for) so hopefully with a bit of work we can start off small.
But, priority is and will be the commissions and patreon rewards I still have yet to finish. I had Monday and Tuesday off this week, I had planned to sit down and draw as long as I could, but nope - my dad needed chauffeuring to a property he's developing (and has been for like 20 years, finally has some money for the next stages) so that took up both fucking days orz Ngl I was a bit pissed off, because he sprung it on me suddenly. And he can't drive, so I drive him everywhere. At least he filled my tank for me.
Anyway, moaning aside, I may have something planned for Discorders this month, so stay tuned. And I'll continue to work on art when I can [muscle emoji here].
Btw, anyone have any plans for Halloween? My favorite time of the year (and yet I never do anything lol).

Driving is just not helpful when trying to heal up wrist injuries/damage. As for Halloween, it will be the traditional classic horror movies with mom & handing out goodies to the kiddos.
