Kingdoms project

Early EARLY concept art for a project that is likely to be at least another year or so in the works. I'm still chipping away at a concrete plot, as a few ideas have been going back in forth in my mind, BUT, I have at least narrowed down two of the main characters here.

Arlo Thearston has been suddenly thrust into the role of king, after his father was hit by a piece of falling masonry. Having come of age a year prior, Arlo was now in a position of kingship but had only basic experience. He has his own idea of how he wants his kingdom to run, taking the place of the more war-like demeanor of his father. He doesn't wish for a kingdom of fear, but many players acting upon it may very well force his hand, given the influence his province holds.

Tristan Maximillion and his family holds a certain reputation. While his upbringing was filled with education, honing his skills and giving him a fine mind, he has none the less been treated with great suspicion among the followers of the kingdom. Many have spread rumours, dubbing him 'King Max the Mad', due to his past tendency of laughing in the middle of combat. The truth of the matter is he suffers from PBA, triggered by stress and anger. None the less, he holds great respect for those close to him, and shares a special bond with King Thearston, the two of them often writing to one another.
