Yeah, it's a shame that, in a world where Shakespeare and John Coltrane existed, no one cares, that all they want is their Garmonbozia and not much else; that, despite the fact that we had things like the transatlantic slave trade, the nuclear bomb and so much disgraceful things, we have all this beauty to bask in the glory of and most people just rather have TikTok. But what I want to know why. Is it the life-work unbalance of late stage capitalism? Is it something in the chemistry of our water and food? Too much liberalism? Too much censorship? I really don't know. I'm willing to hear anyone's takes on this.
