More like Johnathan Bye. Tik Tok is branching out in some weird places. I keep getting ads for these bizarre Tik Tok soap operas that look horrendous. Perhaps some video essayists are not necessarily jumping on a trend, but using a trend to teach others about cinema. Oppenheimer was a big movie that a lot of people saw, therefore some creators decide to use this opportunity, something that's fresh in everyone's mind to educate others and expand their knowledge on why this piece of art they liked was good. I'm not saying that there aren't users who jump on bandwagons and make content just to get views, but I believe I can tell who is genuine and who's not. Additionally, the film might be on the essayists minds as well. I know that when I see a movie that had a strong impact on me, I have to talk about it. I kinda hate money. It be nice to live a life where I could just follow my passions, watch movies, write reviews, make videos, make art etc. Perhaps I could grow my own food someday, I just know that it's much harder than it looks. There's a lot of naive people who think they can just start farming, when it takes so much more time and skill than they would expect.
