I feel like you have articulated something I've been struggling with myself, and have spent the better part of this year trying to articulate to myself. The need for slowing down, for truly disengaging with the content machine. As a commercial filmmaker, I found myself looking only to other commercial filmmakers for inspiration and ideas, and there was a black hole forming within me, and I despised my own work. This recycling of ideas had to stop, and I realised it was because I was not engaging with the art form of film any longer - only with a soulless doppelgänger. So, it has been my intention this year to education myself, and most importantly to enjoy the slow work of creating films and art that are not rushed out for the content mill, but to explore my ideas. Great video. PS. What is the film with the two men riding the moped through what looks like the streets of Paris?
