Mentorship Lesson 1: Automatic Writing

Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce we are launching today our Mentorship program exclusive to patrons. All patrons will be eligible. This means that every month we will have proposed activities with the objective of helping you improve your creative output and promote your individuation as an artist, writer, or filmmaker.

As we mentioned before, this is a rare opportunity to take input from us, so embrace it wholeheartedly.

Every month we are going to focus on one topic, present it through a video just like this one and propose one or a set of activities. By the end of the month, we will have a conversation about the results of the activities during the podcast, we will also send participants a small commentary.

During July we are exploring the topic of Automatic Writing during Lesson 1. In the audio above you will find all information you need. Your assignment + curated portfolio should be sent to us by 26 July to participate.

We will also allow participants to send us a small sample of their work: a small portfolio, sample writings, demo reel, short films, samples of music, etc. Please curate your work before submitting it to us and send us a small resume and/or artist statement (when applied). This work won’t be commented on during the podcast, but we will send a small commentary on private e-mail.

We hope this is the start of an excellent experience for all of us, but we acknowledge that certain “ground rules” should be established to benefit everyone:

All July submissions should be sent to contact@thecinemacartography.com with the subject [JULY MENTORSHIP - YOUR NAME (as it is on Patreon membership)]  or through private message on Patreon.

The cut-out date will be on 26 July.

See you next time!

Was there ever any more mentorship related posts or activities after this one? I saw it on your Patreon page, but this looks to be the only post tagged for it.
