Offline Reading: e-books and PDF-archives

The accessibility of the solar-powered website depends on the season. Finding the right time to publish new content and send newsletters can be challenging in winter. Furthermore, as the battery of the solar systems ages, the website will go offline more often.

We are working on more offline reading options apart from the books. First, we plan to launch a series of e-books this year, free to download for most Patrons. Second, we have published a big part of the PDF archives, which are zip files containing the PDF versions of all articles. Most Patrons can download them for free.

PDF files are not very handy for e-book readers, but they work well for offline reading on a laptop and for printing. The files are based on our site's print template, which is very space-efficient. The dithered images greatly reduce the file size. Everyone can make a PDF archive of our website, but it takes a lot of time, so we did it for you.

Finally, attached is the PDF for the DIY solar manual published a few days ago.
