Been listening for a year or so. Joined the Patreon today to get this episode. Captain Fuller was my great-great-Grandfather. You guys did great!! Just make it a little more bad-ass, the hand car that Fuller took north of Big Shanty was not the “pump” hand car you might be familiar with. It was a “pole car” - you used a long pole to push it along. Fuller worked for the Western & Atlantic Railroad for years after the war, had two families (the first family all basically died of disease) and he died in 1905.

I live in Ringgold and literally saw an info station for the end of the chase out here over the weekend, what a crazy story.
