Clearing a general concern from patrons about submissions.

Hey guys, so recently come into attention a couple of messages from patrons with valid concerns about the activity in the Patreon Page. According to my stupid brain, I did make a post about it, but either I didn't or I actually did, but I mixed it with another post, probably getting buried. So let's use this post to get some clear messages.

Why did I stop regular activities (or "Why no model submissions.")

I define Regular activities to all the activities regarding the process of how The Model Corner works. These activities are model submissions, model votes and model releases.

Some months ago, I ran into a couple of issues that I won't elaborate on, but that put on jeopardy my model development. Because of this, I was unable to work on the models that won the last submission: Zafina, Aeries and Sheva (from now on, The Trio.)

Because I couldn't work on them, I took two decisions:

This also led to take one conclusion:

This is why this Patreon page hasn't charged you guys for such a long time: because I decided to not charge you, because it's not fair for me to receive money while I don't fulfill my duties with you.

The current present.

My original plan was to come back to work as soon as possible. This wasn't easy, and so, I decided to build practice models instead, so you guys can get something as a "thank you" for keeping supporting the Page even though you are not getting charged. I aimed to go resume activities on March. And then Covid happens.

With the current pandemic hit the world is taking, I took two decisions for this:

Instead of not charging for new models, I couldn't do that because, like I said, I cannot afford increasing the model building backlog. I hope you guys can understand this.

The activities will return to normal once I see it's already time to go back to activities. Right now, the situation we are living is horrible and it needs us to be aware of our spending.

I hope this clears the air about the submissions. Yes, I didn't give any date, because I don't know when it is going to be safe out there. Thank you very much for your support guys, but please, please, take care and wash your hands.
