One last update: Is done.

Hey guys, so today I did the last thing I had to do left, and after many hours and a bleeding week, I can say Nico is done and ready to deliver. Not everything is all good though, which is why I prepared this thing below.

What to expect from Nico.

- Good enough Left Arm Tattoo.

Honestly, a part of me thinks I overreacted with how the tattoo should look like, perfectly wrapped around when there's one fact: It's on the elbow. Say anything you want, but the elbow is a 95% blind spot on animations.

The only people who would notice would be people looking at it, knowing it wasn't wrapping around, like I did.

That's why I decided to leave the tattoo with the missing wrench parts. It's just a blind spot in general. I'm not happy with doing that, but I'm happy enough with the work I did.

- Tattoos without Normals

This was a huge miss and I need to apologize to the guy I commissioned for being such an idiot who didn't notice in the first place. I wasn't an idiot to the guy, but I was an idiot to myself, because I somehow missed an awfully obvious issue,

You see, with my idea, I wanted the tattoos to get the normal maps, so they could look a little more detailed. I failed to notice something however: the tattoos normal maps are blended with Nico's Arm's normal maps. What does this mean? Simple: the tattoos work well on Nico's normals, aside of the obvious, because her arm is baked her own normals. This may sound a little confusing, so I will keep it like this:

The normal maps of the tattoos made my Nico's arms look like an awful mess. That's because I'm basically using an already baked double normal map into yet another normal map. Because of this, I decided to go back to regular normal maps.

- Something positive though: I'm in love with her body shape.

I'm not a mesh modder expert, but I believe I have good enough taste, and if a mesh modder see this: If you get clean textures for the gals of DMC5, I strongly recommend them for a proper base. They might not be beautiful for everyone out there, but their quality is absolutely high, maybe the highest out there for a game.

Anyway, back to the body shape. This model was a little weird for me at the beginning, mostly because I mess around with the waist and hips a lot, however, with this model, the canon shape was pretty... natural.

When I was rendering the shots for the bodygroups, I always check my models one last time, because maybe that will be the only time I will ever see in something rendered. And Nico's shape is something I absolutely loved. She looks incredible in my opinion. Honestly, I hope you guys lover her body shape as much as I did.
