Bit behind, listened to this on the way to see Dad for Father’s Day, Joe I’m gonna HAVE to be “that guy” and I HATE “that guy” but….Nashville fell in February of 1862. I know you were probably just reading from a source that threw out “New Orleans was the first major city in the South to fall” but, well, yeah, no. They also burned all the supplies on the way out there as well, by the way. Nate, there was a Florida brigade at Chickamauga, (sic?) under a guy named Finley I think? (I’ve lived in TN for 30+ years) Great stuff, as always! Keep it up, y’all make long drives so much more tolerable
