Planned break in January.

Last time I put the patreon page on Pause, I didn't took a break. It's not a break if it's not voluntarily and it's not a break if I end up work on the schedule. I had to put it on pause because the situation forced me to.

That's why I've decided to take a break. A friend told me I should keep the page running so people decides if they want to give me a bonus or not. I'm not doing that. You guys pay me on Patreon to build models, so if you are paying, that means you are getting a model. That's why in January, I'm going to pause the page so you don't get charged on the month.

This time, I'm voluntarily taking a break in January. I've been running the page since September of last year without having to take a break. That's more than a year.

But if you don't feel tired, why are you taking a break?

Yes, I didn't mention that in the message below, but that's the truth: I'm not feeling tired. The only reason why I'm doing this is because I do need a break. When a machine is working, even if the box says "it can work 30 minutes without overheating" it doesn't mean you will work with it 30 minutes because the box says it doesn't overheat. It's the same in here, I need to take a break because I haven't taken one in more than one year.

There's also another reason, a stronger one: since September (three months ago) I said I was going to add two things: the Cuckbook and the Practice Stash. The lack of Practice Stash doesn't bother me at all because I've mentioned that just because it's called practice, it doesn't mean is going to constantly have content. The Cuckbook, however, I have posts planned, but I haven't done anything. This break is mostly so I can work on it. Instead of stressing out because I've barely have any energy left to write the Cuckbook, I want to do it in a free month.

But why January? Why not December?

I try to treat this like a traditional job. In a traditional job, what you do, is you tell your boss you are going to take a vacation. Best case scenario, you tell him months ahead. Worst case scenario, you tell him one month ahead. I cannot say I'm taking a break in December because we are 4 days near that month (the day I planned this). That's just not fair.

That's why I decided to take a break in January, because it's too late to take it in December.

So the sum things up:

- I'm taking a break in January.

- The Patreon page is going to be paused in January.

- You don't need to unpledge. You won't get charged for January.

- We will return to regular schedule on February.

Thank you for understanding!
