It's Page Layout Season!

So, you may be wondering where the page preview is for this week - I've got the two pages in the works, but I've been feeling very "meh" with the way they were turning out. "Meh" is a terrible place to be for a scene like this! It took me until today to figure out what about them wasn't sitting right, but I've put my finger on it - it's almost all medium shots, with no context to where characters are in relation to each other, and it's making the whole sequence feel disjointed. I'm not usually one to get all the way to inking and flatting a page before I realize I have to toss it out and start over, but here we are ( ´△｀) I feel like I'm cooking the last few courses of this meal, and I don't wanna serve you something I'm not excited about eating myself, you know? It's a bummer, but I'm gonna scrap 'em and start fresh!
At any rate, it's nearly September, which was when I was going to run out of the rough layouts I had drafted months ago. That means it's time for me to sit down and focus on those again! There's a lot of important scenes coming up that I think deserve my full attention, so I'm going to pause updates to the comic for September to focus on that. I'll also be working on the current AU comics in progress, and keep you updated as I go. I'm aiming to resume posting new pages on my site in early/mid October! I appreciate your patience, I promise there's a method to my madness. I don't wanna half-ass the page planning stage, I wanna whole ass it. aaaaaaaa lets get to work ٩(•́o•́๑)و!!!

I have a QUESTION re. the cats - does each demon have their own ‘viewing cat’ (or is it just random cats = random pools?) But if so, does Al have his own? Not that I am now imagining every demon as a cat but… :D Al & Malthus? =O.O=

But most of all I'm really glad you're not pushing yourself to do something that might make you unhappy with what you've made.
