Not sure how reincarnation and memory will work here, but he’s literally stuck with a Collector of souls, so he’s pretty in tune with his soul right now. His soul definitely remembers, since he can’t turn one eye off and Adrian said he’d keep one eye on all the time if he could. I am pretty sure Malthus is just going to make him more powerful by doing this crap, lol.

Because he's shown that Al's loved before? I feel like this is just gonna make Ethan sad for Al :'c And I agree with the above comment, I think he's gonna recognize the heartbreak feeling.

Even if he doesn’t know who he is, Ethan’s going to remember the night Al woke Ethan up because of Malthus’s illusion, when Ethan felt Al’s heart break. Plus, I’m pretty sure he’s going to recognize Al as Stryder and Adrian Lafayette.

I just know it will be Zero for Three with this last ditch effort! How could Ethan be upset when he has had a number of partners, himself! This was a love Al had many years before, and he is actually witnessing his own cosmic soul with Al! I hope that with their shared vision, Ethan will instantly realize the bond and break out of this scenario and slowly (but quickly as time is ticking) destroy Malthus at his own game! You have to give us a great ending, as reality is getting shittier by the minute! 😩🙏🏼😘🥰
