Pages 498 and 499 will be the last update for the comic site for 2023! I intend to take December to work on as many rough page layouts as I can get through, as well as work on updating the current AU comics here. The rough page layouts are the most difficult/time consuming part of the comic process, so I'm really stoked to be setting aside time to focus on the upcoming scenes in one long chain rather than the short sprints I usually run through every couple weeks.
I'm actually going to try moving back into a sketchbook for the rough page layouts/compositions, I was feeling nostalgic for the old pencil and paper days of yore! I'll be scanning those to do a second pass at sketching, then complete the inks and colors digitally, and then share all those parts here with you. We'll see how it goes! (•́⌄•́๑)૭✧

Enjoy your time off. It's so important to recalibrate and focus back on what gave you joy about a thing in the first place. Hearing writing implements scratch on paper gives a different sort of brain tingle for sure. Merry Christmas and Happy 2024!
