It doesn't require you to have an account and you can ask things on anon, which I know some of my more shy patrons prefer using when suggesting sketch topics for dirty character art and the like.

Hmm, that's odd, Curious Cat shouldn't require anything to install to let you use it. Mastodon has a DM feature too, I believe!
