Body Preset Confusion: What You Need to Know!

Preset Problems? Here’s the Tea ☕

I’ve been getting some messages lately saying that my body preset “isn’t working anymore.” First of all, thank you so much for reaching out! 🙏

I just wanted to let you know: I still use my own preset regularly in-game, and even after the latest EA updates, it works perfectly fine on my end. 😊

If it’s not showing up properly or looks off in your game, here are some things to check first:

🔸 Custom Skins or Overlays – Some default or non-default skins include their own body definitions or shading that can override or conflict with body presets.
🔸 Other Body Presets – Having multiple presets installed can sometimes cause visual bugs or override each other.
🔸 Outdated or Conflicting Sliders – These can mess with how presets appear or prevent them from loading properly.
🔸 CAS Mods / Tools – Mods like More Columns in CAS, background replacements, or outdated CAS tweaks might cause issues.

So please double-check your setup – most of the time, the issue comes from other custom content, not the preset itself.

The fact that my preset still works perfectly fine in my own game is actually proof that the EA updates didn’t break anything. If the issue came from an update, it wouldn’t be working for me either. So it’s very likely that the problem comes from a conflict with other custom content like skins, overlays, sliders, or other mods.

One more thing: I can't really "update" the old presets in a technical sense, since body presets don’t work like regular CC. But what I can do is create entirely new presets from scratch! 🎨 That takes a bit of time and planning, but it’s definitely something I’m considering for the near future. 😊
