Patreon Won't Be Rolling Out Fee Changes
Added 2017-12-14 02:41:46 +0000 UTCAfter a few days of backlash and creator/patron feedback on every existing platform possible, Patreon has finally written a formal response, and they're walking back the fee restructuring that no one wanted in the first place. Aaaaaay! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
I can't look into the future to say what their next plan will be, but I do know they're listening, they heard what we had to say, and they're doing something about it! They're still taking feedback and suggestions HERE, if you're interested. In the meantime, I'm still keeping a watchful eye on other "still in beta" platforms as well as Patreon news as it develops.
Thank you to everyone who voiced their concerns and stood next to creators like me through this weird and turbulent time, you're excellent and I will rain down upon you many smirky sexy demon men as a token of my appreciation. (That's totally appropriate, right?)

I'm absolutely over the moon about this! It seems more and more creator platforms are making sudden harsh money driven changes and not listening to their community (cough YouTube cough) so it's wonderfully refreshing that they actually listened! It will be better for Patreon too in the long run I'm positive!
