Question for the players!
Added 2022-12-20 02:37:35 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Part of the Chapter 6 changes includes the addition of a new gallery system. Every scene in the game will have a special, unique render associated with it. These will be directly related to the scene, so don't expect a bunch of nekkid renders, unless it's a nekkid scene!
Anyway, question! Would you prefer to be notified when a gallery image unlocks (roughly at the end of each scene), or would you prefer the unlocks to be "silent", and simply happen in the background?
Personally, my thought on it is that the notifications could break immersion, causing players to keep stopping to go check out the new unlocks. But that's me, and my opinion as a player of other games. So, I want to ask all of you what your thoughts are! Feel free to leave comments as well!

Basically, when you see the final image of any scene it will unlock the associated gallery render.

2022-12-20 02:56:20 +0000 UTCI think I'd slightly prefer to get the notification; it's nice to know what triggers the unlock. But it's not a big deal to me so I'd be happy either way. Or with the ability to choose if that's practical.

2022-12-20 02:44:33 +0000 UTCI don't know how much work it would be, but if it is simple enough you could make it an option you set in preferences. If it is a pain, ignore this. I like the notifications, though generally wait until I finish an update before checking them out so it doesn't break the flow for me. But I can understand why others might prefer silent.
