Welcome everyone to the latest build! Sorry it took so long, as everyone knows my PC has been out of commission for the last two months, so I really had to crunch this build out and I still didn't make it in time. This build is 2 days late and I'm rather sad that I wasn't able to get it out on time. I've been really wanting to stick to this deadline and while I know this is a unique circumstance, I'm still not happy with myself, so I really want to improve this going forward.
Another thing to address is the lack of the promised double-sized update. If we're being completely honest here, I just didn't have the time to do a double-sized update. I barely had time to do this regular-sized one and I was late! I'll try to get it to you as soon as possible, either as its own update that will come out before next month or as part of next month's update. We'll have to see how things go as I'll definitely need a rest from how much I've been pushing my body to get this build done on time.
One final major thing to note. There was a coding error in regards to Lucas' route where players would be getting the bad ending when they weren't supposed to. It turns out that I had done a massive error and I actually did the scene backwards. So if you made all the correct decisions, you'd actually get the bad ending and vice versa. I've fixed it now and I'd recommend going back through Lucas' route to get the good ending now to avoid any issues down the line.
But for now, let's rundown what's in the newest build:
- Leigh's day 6, approx. 18k words.
- Two CGs featuring our favorite possum and weasel together.
- Bugfixes. Most importantly, Lucas' bad ending has been fixed.
