My personal take on Menat, from Street Fighter 5!
Menat was a pretty high priority for me, for some time. She has that cheeky demeanor, slender form, and that straight bangs hairdo that I pretty much draw all the time. I think it'd be a shame if I didn't give a crack at painting her. This particular purple colour palette is also just visually striking compared to many of the palettes I've used in the past.
I think the only real problem I had working with this one was the fact that I went back and forth on some parts of the paint a little too often after a point. We had a roaring fast start, but I started to whittle at parts that didn't really need it. Definitely something to keep an eye on for future paints.
Seriously though, there isn't all that much for me to complain about here. I think the one thing that could have been better for sure is the cloth and maybe the style of rendering on her orbs. The cloth could feel more... cloth-y, and the orbs could use a bit more of a translucent touch. Both of those things really are nitpicks, though.
I've been a bit invigorated and feeling really good about these!
