I felt confident about this one! Sort of a mystical, sassy fortune teller kind of feeling, especially due to the pink swirls going around.
This one comes after the two comfort zone paints, and just takes that little extra step to zoom out the camera a little and get a bit more work in. I'd say it turned out pretty nicely, despite being relatively simple as a whole.
There's a few things I've been concerned with lately, and that includes thinking over the painting process more, as well as going back entirely to give the sketching process another look! It's been a very long time since I last re-examined the way I do sketches, and it's quite possibly one of the weakest elements of my work. It's not very delicate, tactile, nor organic and it's a huge realization. I've been so focused on painting that I've neglected one of the most essential parts of my paints.
Thanks to the discovery of a new thing to work toward, I've actually been revitalized a bit (albeit a bit tired from the late nights I've been spending doing some observations of other artists' work) and am super excited to get cracking on sketch practice or sketch-oriented paints!
